The Motorship: Experts highlight LNG's future relevance at Propulsion and Future Fuels

WinGD's Thomas Werner was one of the experts presenting at the 45th Propulsion and Future Fuels Conference in Hamburg, where he talked about the methane mitigation technologies for X-DF engines.

He highlighted the benefits of using technologies like iCER and VCR and illustrated how X-DF engines with these technologies are competitive with their high-pressure equivalents in terms of overall greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

“These technologies make our engines not only compliant with IMO greenhouse gas strategies but also more competitive in terms of fuel and methane slip reduction”
